Rinpoche visiting peace gardens

Rinpoche visiting peace gardens

Paleaku Peace Gardens welcomes Venerable Tulku Yeshi Rinpoche for a Meditation and Empowerment of White Tara from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A donation of $40 is requested.

Rinpoche is a Dzogchen master and the reincarnation of Dzogchen Gyaltsab Thodo Rinpoche. He was recognized by H.H. Dalai Lama’s Nyingmapa teacher Kyabje Trulshig Rinpoche and has received teachings from 25 masters representing all five schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Presently he lives in Seattle. The blessing empowerment of White Tara, also called “the Mother of all Buddhas” will be given to making a connection with one who is the embodiment of graceful power, wisdom, purity and long life. Sometimes the White Tara is called “the Goddess of Seven Eyes” because in addition to the third eye, she is also depicted with eyes in her hands and feet. Attendees should refrain from eating meat, fish, garlic and onions during the day.

The garden is located at 83-5401 Painted Church Road in Captain Cook. For more information, call 328-8084 or visit paleaku.com

Rinpoche will also be teaching at Wood Valley Temple in Naalehu. Call 928-8539, visit nechung.org or email nechung@aloha.net.
